A Christmas Carol (or two!)

Today our choir visited the Windmill House in Marton to perform traditional carols and Christmas songs for some of the residents.

Although the choir was a little depleted today, the children sang their hearts out and were very well received! After the performance, the children had some light refreshment and were invited to meet some of the residents and staff. Here are a selection of photos and videos of a couple of festive favourites for you to enjoy!

Mandarin Lessons Year 3

Here is another video clip for you of the Year 3 classes, learning Mandarin.  The children are from Mrs Blencowe's Class 3A and Mrs Selvi's Class 3B. They are really lucky to have been the first children chosen to learn Mandarin and are being taught on Wednesday mornings by Wu in Learning Support Room 1. Today, the children were learning the Mandarin words for eyes, ears, nose, mouth, arms and legs!

Greek Pots

Year 6 have been designing and making Greek pots as part of their ancient history lessons. They also had a little bit of help from the infants!
